Yes, he’s handing cushy jobs to his most loyal minions, but it’s more than that.
He’s prepping the nation for what’s to come. For what he’s going to do next.
With each new outrage he moves the chains for what is considered “normal”. So once we’ve “adjusted” to the new disturbing reality of what is possible, he then can do something even worse.
Something more radical, more anti-democratic, more dangerous, more authoritarian, more amoral.
What he’s doing now is just the beginning.
What’s to come will be so, so much worse.
So we need to brace for it.
And we need to be ready to fight.
