I LOVE the premise of this piece: creative, no-holds-barred brainstorming leads to winning ideas. Sure, those ideas often need refining, but the magic starts with bold thinking.
The key? Foster a culture where your team feels safe sharing their ideas. https://t.co/kMDyxEQh5A
It’s the most wonderful time of the year! And no, I don’t mean the holidays… I mean Comfort Food Tuesday.
Our office was transformed into...https://t.co/zg8DC6vGBj

Translation: #StartupTechValley at Universal Preservation Hall—a great event at a great venue right here in my hometown of #SaratogaSprings. https://t.co/46v039o9gR
Asking for client feedback has always been a part of my professional journey. If you're committed to improving and believe in your value proposition, it's a no-brainer.
The real question is: Do you want (and can you handle) the truth? https://t.co/tUjHge8eQ8
Not just barristers, but bakers too! We enjoyed a delightful cookie exchange today, which gave us an opportunity to celebrate the last week with our stellar summer associates. Their contributions and energy have been a fantastic addition to the office.
One more perk of the standing workstations at our new office: no awkwardness trying to stand-from-a-sitting-desk after a midday run!
There's a rumor (okay, it was me) that the @PhillipsLytle Albany team is organizing a weekly 5K...https://t.co/HSJJm3dyoF
At first I thought my GPS wasn’t working this morning...
Our @PhillipsLytle Albany office recently moved into a beautiful new space at 3 Winners Circle. Yet, somehow, this morning when I ended my commute I wound up at THIS winner’s circle.
Go figure. https://t.co/qZOHU5meXn
Every so often, a start-up client will approach me with their own draft term sheet, hoping to dictate the terms for potential investors. If only it were so. https://t.co/1aqddHScXm
Great @PhillipsLytle team effort as we wound our way through Albany on what was a perfect evening for a run… with over 6,000 others.
Speaking of fresh legs, we have some talented young professionals joining our firm soon. Looking forward to their energy and new perspectives!
A day in the life!
My morning began in business attire.
By evening, I switched gears—and outfits—to join the Albany Bar Foundation Law Day 5K's 30th Anniversary edition at Corning Preserve along the scenic Hudson River. https://t.co/P1iVyvsVsE

Another year at the @NYBPC and my amazement has not waned.
Today was extra special because my youngest son Jason Schwartz, an engineering student at @GeorgiaTech, joined me at the event.

Shout out to the @CresaCorp team - Zac Conley, Todd Stevens, and Jodi Emmons - for the invite to the @AlbanyBizReview's Best Real Estate Deals event. It was great to catch up with some old friends.
It's prime networking season...
It was a packed house at Startup Tech Valley last night. After a COVID-induced hiatus, the entrepreneurial community turned out in full force - over 250 people. Amazing.
I suspect the good energy will carry over into future events. I certainly know it will for me.
I’m a huge proponent of the underlying premise here: “…reap the benefits of investments made in employees even after they’ve exited.”
Specifically, the idea of maintaining ties with former employees via a corporate alumni program. https://t.co/zFGFCUwvrB
This is yet another reminder that simply being good at your core competency is but one component (albeit an important one) of your overall value proposition; solid work is the ante that gets you in the game.

Disclaimer: I love me some Chipotle.
This is a neat little primer on stock splits.
But, it got me thinking about how optics can sometimes matter more than the math. https://t.co/PsRzCrs1FU
