I think people underestimate the grief many Millennials carry every day. It’s hard to mourn the life you were promised. So many worked hard and did everything “right,” yet still can’t afford a home, raise children comfortably, build retirement savings, or even healthcare.
Now 52% of young adults live with their parents, the highest rate ever, surpassing even the Great Depression. The most-educated and most in debt generation in history did everything they were supposed to and got this.

Unless I’m working in an ER, working as a paramedic, or working as a firefighter, there’s no reason I should be expected to “thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.” Just fix the terrible management and stop running your office like a circus.
