@minimalist2021@rupasubramanya Love our Bosch, but do plan on opening the door after running to get plastics dry, or buy the more expensive models that pop the door automatically.
@CanadianKayMD Even more straight-forward stuff is clogging the ER'S on the island. Suspected walking pneumonia 3-12h wait in ER and if positive by xray leave with antibiotic prescription. Clinic or family doc, xray, xray results, to prescription takes days to weeks depending on variables.
@Rooster5man Interesting, I would have thought one lore for exerting Jafar, and one lore for each card drawn for Merlin entering and leaving. Guess I need to read the rules.
@HiW944@JameClark5@EcoFashionByBG Agree there is more to the story. My 12k btu heat pump that does most of the heating in my house uses around 500 kw/h in Jan/Feb which is around $100.
@pharmacuriosity @Oliver_Trpcic@MelissaMbarki Most heat pumps in the east are mini splits and the common sizes are 9, 12 and 15k btu for the most efficient systems. So for the average home needing 30k+ btu heating you need more than one or you are just supplementing a primary source.
@pdowney309 @TimTalk3@achrosen Not getting rid of my oil either, but might switch to propane to get rid of tank, but definitely want a back up and one that works on generator. I placed my units where it doesn't usually drift. Many of my neighbors not so much. As for digging out units, agree.
@visitorsdigest@MelissaMbarki I have 3 and my heating cost in Jan and Feb is around $200 total. Something else is going on, maybe no insulation, outside units buried or iced up, or someone is cryptomining on their service. That said, too many reasons why heat pumps don't work well for all.
@TimTalk3 @pdowney309 @achrosen Yes, all that, plus keeping them clean inside and outside. There is also a lot of tweaking settings and scheduling needed for best performance and comfort. I'm willing to do it, many not. Fully appreciate why there many different experiences with heat pumps.
@TimTalk3 @pdowney309 @achrosen Only use oil for the garage and a little oil one night a year ago. House is kept at 72 C. Electricity bill increased $200 in Jan and Feb. They can work really well. Problem is there are too many reasons why they don't meet expectations, starting with bad installs.
@SuperMikhail1@EcoFashionByBG They can work great in the maritimes if you have a reasonably tight and well insulated home, units are properly sized and installed, filters are cleaned regularly, and they don't get buried in snow or encased in ice.
