@terrynewman Great vid! I find it telling that media can’t or will not pressure the carney Liberals into naming names in that letter. They were certainly salivating on possible floor crossers so I find this a dereliction of duty on the hills media gang. Canadians should know.

RE: Carney's non-response today:

A lesson for the old guard from a newbie in the field: I don't know how we got here, but we need to end this idea of polite journalism.

Interrogation is your job. You're supposed to be a shark. When you sense fear, witness stuttering after your questioning and are assaulted by personal attacks from politicians, consider that blood in the water.

Don't stop. Follow its trail. Be hungry. Be curious. Don't borderline interrogate. Go for the jugular, and if the question doesn't get answered that day, show up the next day and remind the politician that you have a list of questions that he or she hasn't answered satisfactorily, and that you're not leaving until they do.

This isn't impolite or uncivil. No prime minister should be telling a journalist "point final." When Carney said this to Levitz, he also said it to every Canadian, and that's inexcusable.
