this is a blog post i wrote 13 years ago (in my early 20s) – when i started becoming aware about government waste and wanted more people to be as outraged as i was.

every fee here is a thinly veiled way to funnel more money into the pockets of people who were able to lobby the government into thinking a new fee would solve a problem.

i wanted to make it my life's mission to expose this kind of stuff.

well, it only took a decade and a half, but we're finally about to blow the lid off of the whole thing at a federal level.

i'm so excited people are waking up to just how corrupt every level of the US government is. it's time to Make Government Small Again.
