a quick introduction since i see a lot of new faces here after helping with @DataRepublican's site!

NEW: Spencer Pratt fires back at reporter after he was asked about his plan for the homeless, says they will all end up in Seattle.
Reporter: "What are your plans for the over 40,000 homeless in Los Angeles?"
Pratt: "Well, they're not homeless, they're drug addicts... These people have been bused in by scam rehabs, scam NGOs, scam homeless nonprofits."
"These people, when I unplug them ... they're all going to Seattle, where the mayor will welcome them."
@nworetribution i kept getting my CA mail-in ballots for ~8 years after giving up my California residency, filing all the proper paperwork, and responding to multiple notices telling me they got word of me leaving the state and to file something to confirm.
it blows my mind how inhospitable some flight attendants can be.
I'm in the last row on the aisle on a @united flight. pre-takeoff, the two FAs behind me are standing around talking about vacations, etc - just killing time.
I had an empty cup with ice, so I turned to see if I could get one of them to throw it away so I didn't have to hold onto it through takeoff.
this female flight attendant turns to me with an inauthentic/condescending smile and puts her hand up to indicate "wait"... for several seconds.
the other FA instantly turns, sees me with the cup, and immediately reaches over to take it and throw it away.
she was also talking about how she's been flying for 20-something years. I'm sure you're getting jaded with the job but man, what happened to just being a nice person, especially when you're on the job and taking care of passengers is part of the job description?
@SoCalRuss1983@united the super high quality paper cup started disintegrated 10 minutes after liquid was poured into it. the seat back pocket would have smashed it and leaked the remnants.
you should totally trust Meta with all your data β you know, the same company who thinks Easter is on a Tuesday, Palm Sunday is on a Monday, and Good Friday is on a Saturday. π€‘
Obviously the allegations are not all "false" because there's evidence. It appears Swalwell was so reckless and degenerate in his personal behavior that it was an open secret in California/DC politics.
With that said, the real question is why does all this dirty laundry come out NOW?
My best guess: California jungle primary system. Swalwell, Porter, and other Democrat candidates are splitting the Democrat vote to the point that they risked having 2 Republicans make it onto the general election ballot. So CA Democrats needed to knock out one of their own to make sure they can hold onto the governor's office. That's why they sit on all this dirt until the most opportune time.
If only media in this country wasn't overwhelmingly just an extension of Democratic Party communications personnel, the public might have found out a lot sooner
it's honestly mind-blowing the smear campaign against Swalwell right now. when Biden got accused of sexual assault, that got put to bed pretty quickly. but risk a Democrat splitting the vote? all-out character assassination.
don't think for a second Democrats actually care about justice β this is 100% a smear campaign to avoid losing the Governorship of California.
