Terrific to see @NYCMayor's "click to cancel" rule go into effect today.
Trapping customers in subscriptions is against the law.
Businesses must make it as easy to cancel as it is to sign up.

Incredible visual from @AGRobBonta's press conference announcing the State AG lawsuit against the Paramount/Warner Bros. acquisition. Congrats to my former state colleagues, especially @NewMexicoDOJ, for fighting to protect a competitive and vibrant film industry.
Paramount's top lawyer is upping the ante - still talking about Graham Platner, but now threatening to overturn Philadelphia National Bank, which holds that mergers to a 30% market share are presumptively anticompetitive.
Not a good sign if you need to overturn the law to merge
@lionel_trolling I genuinely can't tell if all these people really believe that the majority upended the status quo or if it's just unbelievably disingenuous framing.
Henrico County, Virginia has 37 data centers, which use immense amounts of electricity.
But at the end of June as a heat wave approach the county asked schools and government workers to cut back on electricity use.
County employees were asked to do things like "Turn off lights" and "Adjust blinds" while data center companies, which receive massive tax breaks, have not been asked to conserve electricity at all.

Wow, only 5-4 on the constitutional holding. Trump came within one vote of successfully revising the Fourteenth Amendment almost out of nowhere. Victory for birthright citizenship -- for sure. But almost a defeat. Raising the question of why we are playing this game.
