@kbcamby A3: Burning Question- Given trends of change and development in human-machine interaction, what do you see as the Bold School teaching and learning priorities of the next 15-25 years? #augustaedtech
@kbcamby A2: Beauty of Problem Solving Teaching is that the students have to find the best tool for their task rather than us tell them what to use. Best tool for us to use is well-modeled thought process for fitting tool to task. #augustaedtech
@kbcamby A1: Vocabulary (Clarify) and critical analysis (Question) are important reading skills for WLC students. Google Docs with Frayer Models for vocab, quiz tool like Kahoot or Edpuzzle for them to create higher order questions and answers. #augustaedtech
Slow Chat A2: ‘Real World Relevance’ and authentic problem solving processes are primary to WLC. Whether it’s test-taking strategies or translation skills, our students are knowledge workers. Problem Solving Teaching encourages students to vet and use tools based on task!
Slow Chat A1: in the WLC world of foreign language education, vocabulary and higher level language analysis are paramount (Clarify and Question). I’m punting here: Googledocs for collaborative editing with Frayer Models and scaffolded questions.

Slow Chat A3: With the advent of ISTE and digital literacy, what are the Bold School skills, strategies and tools of the next 15-25 years? #augustaedtech
@Prudence_2015 @kbcamby I think we could implement spaced practice especially when we have longer classes or when students are have not taken a particular class before. They can apply old learning in the new class #augustaedtech
A3: we’re already using it at WLC to good effect but it was validating to see interactive video and direct instruction highlighted in Bold School #augustaedtech
@Prudence_2015 @kbcamby@PhyllisGamble12 Great point! Also, having a station to apply grammar and vocabulary in different contexts helps to reinforce language learning
A2: tech tools would depend on your academic outcomes and goal-aligned strategies but group editing and interactive video apps seem to be useful for mass and spaced practice #augustaedtech
