@MaiaDunphy Youngest daughter nearly 19 got taxi in Mcr City Centre NYE using either Bolt or Uber, cost her £16 around 8pm which is fair as dearer from NYE - NYD etc but coming home 6/7 hrs later + was quoted by the same firms £47-£69 for the journey home shocking so guess who picked her up

@AndyBurnhamGM So heres thought then why not then extend to all students up to age of 25 to get the free travel pass , card, allowance etc. My daughter is already £12k in debt doing her foundation year for Uni and will be further £36k if she does 3 more yrs + is struggling to get any PT role

@d_mathieson Trip to London me hubby daughter each of us had to use seperate cards to pay and get on , unable to pay for more than 1 passenger one 1 card luckily 17yr old daughter had a bank acct but not many minors do , in mcr you can pay for more than 1 person, London take notice + update

@sharrond62 They're even changing rules and regs on gifts of money to family so the 7 year rule will no longer apply our savings are our earnings already taxed so why do or shouks wr pay dble and if we have to much over threshold of savings we'll get stung again wish I was on 96k + exp

@MartinSLewis I'm a way off yet but how would I find out if it still existed then in 12 yrs time the old or the new s pension and how much would it be I've worked over 35 yrs so full stamp and therefore no P Credits etc applicable to me

@PetenShirl And when she does got to Uni I will have to find over £10k year to cover her accomodation as the MLoan she will get will not even cover her food and bills for the year hubby due to retire soon so can't afford that 1 wage down him in state pension if indeed it still exists

@clairebubblepop I know pay the mps pro rata not the 90k plus salary and stop extortionate expense allowance and "payroll" for family then do a time + motion study on them all and pay them the % they've actually earned, maybe on their lower 2nd wage they may see a little bit how others live
