A dance was exactly what I needed to end #COP26.
If the leaders can’t decide to protect our futures, we will find some joy in the present.
But there is still time for them to give us happiness when we are older too.

@KatrinaFLambert spoke to @AOC about gender and climate, and we can be seen in the BBC, New York Times, and CNN!
@SpeakerPelosi and @NicolaSturgeon also led a fantastic panel highlighting gender equality as a Human Right crucial to tackling climate change. 🎉

“I want you to stay angry, I want you stay frustrated. But channel that anger, harness that frustration.”
- Obama
86% of girls and young women want young people to be more involved in climate negotiations (2019 Girlguiding survey)
#BringInTheGirls to climate discussions.
👋 Thanks to @wagggsworld us @GirlguidingScot delegates are @COP26 in Glasgow all week! We’ll be right at the centre of discussions about the #ClimateCrisis and will hear from global decision-makers. Stay tuned to see what we get up to here & on Insta 👉 https://t.co/0VtT5TjAzJ
Heading to Glasgow to begin my week as a @COP26 delegate on behalf of @wagggsworld!
Women and young people are among the worst affected by climate change, yet they are rarely invited to negotiations. The world cannot be saved unless everyone can shape our climate policies.
Announcing my fourth (!) London Tech Week event!
I’ll be with @accelerate_HER and @JdR_Tech on Thursday 23rd discussing the importance of mentor ship and diversity in CS 🎉

Everyone should benefit equally from the internet’s huge opportunities - but threats including appearance pressures, sexual harassment, and sexist abuse are widespread and hold young women back. No girl should fear for her safety on the internet or feel pressured to change 💪
Our #GuidingAdvocate Emily has responded to the #QueensSpeech⬇️
'The online safety bill should explicitly recognize the experiences girls and young women face online and social media platforms must take greater responsibility for the harm caused on their sites.'
We agree!👏
Proud to have won the #CodeFirstGirls#FCAsprint whilst tackling domestic abuse!
My team created an extendable UI, in the form of a usable game, for a virtual pre-paid card which allows domestic abuse survivors to store money without arousing suspicion.

🎉Happy #InternationalWomensDay! From challenge comes change, so let's all choose to challenge gender bias and inequality. We want to empower girls to use their voice to call out sexism. What will you #ChooseToChallenge?@Girlguiding Advocates Amanda & Emily have their say 🗣⬇
Last month, I spoke at a roundtable with the Digital Minister of State and Baroness Barran. We discussed how the new SRE program, which I helped campaign for, supported online safety. Today, £44m was released for digital safety.
My part was tiny. But together we created change 🎉
