Making it clear: Today, Trump said he "loves" his $1.8 billion fund for his political allies and J6 insurrectionists who attacked police officers and thinks it's "so important."
He doesn’t care about working Americans.
President Trump, asked if the DOJ anti-weaponization fund is dead for good, didn't commit to that:
"It's uh, I'd have to ask the lawyers, I don't know."
"The weaponization fund, as far as I'm concerned, was a beautiful thing. It was something I was, I didn't make it but I heard that, I thought that was the greatest thing because people like you have abused our people so badly."
And in the same answer, on Jan. 6: "People that went there to, with love, they went there with love. You know when I made that speech early in the day, tremendous crowd. I hate to say it because they'll say 'oh I was wrong on the number.' But I believe it's the largest crowd I've ever spoken to by, by twice. Biggest crowd I think, bigger than the inaugurations, bigger than anything. And there was so much love and, and friendship. It was the most amazing thing. People were crying."
Kaitlan Collins: Is the $1.8B slush fund dead or is it on hold?
Trump: Uhhh I'd have to ask the lawyers, I don't know. It's a beautiful thing. It's the greatest thing. Be quiet. She used to be a conservative from Alabama
Collins: I'm still from Alabama
Trump: They raided my house, Mar a Lago. It turned out that it was a total fake. We have all the information here, the good advantage to sitting here is we can get information that you wouldn't get. We are going to be it showing over the coming weeks
Slavish devotion to Donald Trump does not make Bill Pulte qualified to lead our national intelligence apparatus. His selection is a threat to our national security, and – in the middle of a war – it is as outrageous as it is dangerous.

Josh Turek is a proven leader. We need his integrity, tenacity, and commitment to putting working families first in the Senate.
Excited to cheer on @turek4iowa this November!
Acting AG Todd Blanche sat with Sean Hannity for an hour and a half interview and they spent so much of it talking about uncharged people who are targets of President Trump that the video ends with this notable disclaimer -->

The most critical decisions affecting our national security and the lives of our service members must always be made by human beings, not unaccountable machines.
Right now, the Pentagon is moving toward deploying incredibly powerful AI technology without commonsense guardrails in place, which could have catastrophic consequences that make all of us less safe.
We must act now – not to stifle technological progress, but to establish clear rules of the road that keep humans in charge and keep AI’s use in warfare smart and safe.
For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.
NEW: @SenatorSlotkin tells me she expects SASC’s NDAA to include her AI guardrails bill, to bar DOD from using AI for domestic surveillance and to launch nuclear weapons. @SenGillibrand just introed a similar bill today. https://t.co/WzpqANBuOO
Shaheen to Rubio: "Mr Secretary, you would not have stood for this kind of stonewalling by the administration when you were a senator, and you certainly shouldn't stand for it as secretary of state and national security adviser."
Sen. COLLINS tells me on PULTE’s pick for acting DNI that she knows nothing about him
“I do not know Mr. Pulte at all. I don't know whether he has any intelligence or military background. I don't even know whether he has a security clearance.”
Does that concern Collins? “Not yet because maybe there's a lot in his background that is relevant to this important decision. As one of the authors of the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004, which created the position of DNI, I obviously care a great deal about having a qualified individual in that position.”
