@apmilnes @FCOtravel Hey Paul, we’re in Morzine right now. Bars have started closing or limiting numbers, and numbers are being limited on Telecabins. There is talk that resorts may be closing Monday, but nothing confirmed yet.

@wardiesholay @Jamken22 I completely agree with you here. However, I understand how our HoC can be changed to move power when corruption appears (which it always will) through GEs. I do not feel the same with the EU. There are certainly issues with our system, but I feel I have more of a voice in it.

@wardiesholay @Jamken22 Thanks for engaging warmly. I think the decision for leavers was not just economic. I think it’s comparable to wanting to leave an unhappy marriage, few spouses would be better off apart. But most of us can understand the desire to move on anyway. For me Brexit is much the same.

@wardiesholay @Jamken22 There are many reasonable leavers, but many don’t engage on Twitter. A practical way we can come together is to start engaging with each other (ideally away from Twitter). Not with the intention of changing each other’s minds (control) but for the sake of understanding.

@wardiesholay @Jamken22 I believe power corrupts, and also that the more removed power is from its control source the less likely sensible/practical/useful decisions are made. I believe you can’t make something happen if you don’t believe in it, and the HoC in last 3 years haven’t supported leaving.

@Jamken22 The article was for you. If you read between the lines there’s a huge black hole in spending (over 4% is ginormous) and “they say” accounts have been signed off does little to reassure me. You asked for evidence that EU accounts were not robust and I was offering it.

@markoftheD Truth telling by some experts is easily shed for political gain, and trust is then lost for all. Experts should be careful to always tell the truth and declare their conflicts or they erode trust for all experts. Humans then retreat to only trusting those they know (and trust).

@Jamken22 Not trusting our own elected government is not a reason to trust an unelected more distant power. If you are not happy with UK government you have a way to change it (elections). As three years have shown, it’s not so easy with EU.
