Neat footage of a black wolf, a fairly rare observation in our area where 98-99% of wolves are gray.

We actually collared this wolf (now dubbed Wolf G11E) later in the summer, the first black wolf we ever collared on our project. As we knew when we collared him, G11E was not part of a pack but rather a lone wolf wandering around, which is pretty common for  1-2 year old males like G11E.

Two driving habits of others that drive me nuts:

1. Take a right on red unless there is a sign that says "no right on red". It's really easy. Just watch for traffic going through the intersection.

2. When you take a ramp off of an interstate, dont break until your on the ramp.

This is my 1st time catching my pet archer fish, Legolas, spitting on camera. Archerfish use modified jaw and tongue bones to fire a jet of water to knock down bugs from over hanging vegetation. Here he is shooting down a fruit fly 🪰 🐠
