@WallaceDrunk@TheTNHoller The ID proves you are you. Other qualifications to vote are determined by the voter registration through the election commission. Citizenship is proven during REGISTRATION - not during voting.
"...the proposed [Hillsdale] “standards” are really just a huge hodgepodge of Trivial Pursuit answers that, for all their volume, manage not to engage students in inquiry and deep learning."
@ReedsCreeds @VoteGloriaJ If you read all her words, you'll see that isn't even close to what she said. Amazing that you can be so obnoxious toward a post about kids and 9/11.
WATCH: “70% of Tennessee students could be held back in 3rd grade… our local board had 0 input, parents have little recourse… extra stress on young students is a concern.”
@rucoschools director James Sullivan takes aim at @GovBillLee & @TNGOP’s new 3rd grade retention law
In plain English, Tennessee is fighting the federal government to preserve State authority to investigate and prosecute doctors who provide emergency abortions when pregnancy threatens the life or health of the mom.
It’s extreme. And there’s nothing pro-life about it.
Guess when scores will be released: right after Election Day for the Governor’s race! AND after time for appeals to Gov. Lee’s appointed charter school commission. (If charter school grades aren’t up to par, reversing local denials of charter applications is a bad look.)
@PAILTN_ @yarbro Fully credentialed professionals SHOULD be able to bring in whatever book may be within the scope of their PROFESSIONAL LICENSURE. Those who made this regressive law had no credentials to support their decision.
This is the nonsense forced on teachers by extremists in TN GOP: cataloging books for bureaucratic approval before kids can read them. If you’re wondering why we’re facing teacher shortages, here ya go.
@ShawnFinchum@amandajgillen@VoteGloriaJ@KnoxSchools You seem to have missed that this wasn't PAC money. This is a national organization of dark money, IMPERSONATING our school website and making it look like the district endorsed certain candidates.
Fascinating that a WashingtonD.C. dark money PAC for school privatization is getting involved in @KnoxSchools BOE race trying to look like official KCS business. This is the stuff of grifters, not folks who care about public schools.
