This is incredibly cheeky coming from the BBC because they have participated in perpetuating this stigma in the first place. The first article I read about monkeypox in the UK was from the BBC and referenced the sexuality of those who had contracted it here - there was no need🙄
Accountability for making progress on race equity/EDI in general should be placed on senior management. If an organisation has EDI/anti-racism as something they're setting out to achieve or champion then it should form a part of the SLT's performance management!
