๐ Help shape the future of womenโs health! ๐
I've spent a lifetime pushing boundaries in performance and am now building tech to better serve women's health. Ladies, pls take a quick 2-minute survey so we can create better solutions.

Excited to share why I packed up my family and life in a Uhual to come to Silicon Valley. I'm on a mission to help women get the right healthcare, when they need it. That is why I have co-founded RYA Health. Thx Prof Moore & Campbell for sharing our story https://t.co/4eLc03AZ8j
It was an honour to meet the Queen, to be invited to sit with her over dinner when she toured, Canada, and to see her playful side behind the veil. She was kind and even joked about her crown slipping around.
โI think anyone whoโs been around this space would know not to see any one case as a tipping point. Because change hasnโt happened that way,โ Heil said.

Couldn't be more proud of my nephew! I have the privilege of seeing his grit and determination up close. It constantly inspires me! Congrats to the whole family. @NHLBruins@domgauthier https://t.co/MVx52GDvZl

This is the most impactful and important story I have ever done about Canadian sport. The *players* mobilized. Instead of enjoying the moment, or focusing on play, they are working to eradicate a culture of silence and abuse. Unreal. #CanWNT#CanXNT
Join us today in a minute of silence prior to kick off, where we stand in solidarity to acknowledge the abuse that has occurred in sport across canada. We stand together for the victims of abuse and to show our commitment to end this culture of silence and abuse.

Nothing like being reminded that you're not getting any younger.
Son: "Hey mom, what year were you born, 2000 and what?"
Me: "No, I was born in '80s."
Son: "Oh, wow!"
The mental health challenges that come with managing the pressure to perform are real and reinventing yourself while becoming a mother and putting your kids first are real. Thank you @OleksiakPenny@Simone_Biles for being real. Your courage inspires.@maplereleaf#InvestInWomen
@daphnegilbert@s_guilbeault Appreciate your comments and apology. We raised the gaps within the proposed system so the essential principles can be created for an effective system. Leaning into solving these is the only way to build the trust and credibility.
@daphnegilbert your comments of "trust and credibility" with the athletes is critical. But, stating that all of our concerns have been met is inaccurate. (1/2) @s_guilbeault
The "independent mechanism" is not mandatory & the one code can have up to approx 60 interpretations where NSOs decide appropriate sport specific behaviors. This limits the ability for athletes to understand their rights and to take action. @daphnegilbert@s_guilbeault
@StrashinCBC Agree - the majority of athletes participate in sport at the provincial level and we need these same solutions there. The sport system manages sport top-down from NSOs-PSOs-LSOs - if we can align these solutions starting at the national level we will have a more effective system.
What wasn't shared today during the safe sport announcement is that the "independent mechanism" is not mandatory - therefore NSOs currently decide the level of athlete protection. We're asking @s_guilbeault to lead by making this mechanism implemented by @CRDSC_SDRCC MANDATORY.
