@SeanGilfoy @RedSox They did! The event was held by an org that matches kids who have lost a parent with a mentor who also lost a parent when they were young. He and his wife were both there, my husband and stepdaughter went (his first wife/her mom passed a few yrs ago) and said he was incredible.

@CWadeBaker Former kindergarten teacher here: you hit on a key insight about your child: he may have looked like he wasn’t paying attention, but he retained the info. That’s the important piece. Remember that in his school career: the question isn’t can he sit still, it’s is he learning?

@Brent_Rooker25 I thought it was a really sweet moment, loved it. The HR Derby is fun to watch not just for the home runs, to see a lot of big-name players laid back, having a good time. There was a great family vibe to it, so many kids around. Keep doing that dad thing, it was a sweet.

@LTF_01 11 years ago today, I started having double vision. 11 years ago tomorrow, I was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I initially assumed I was having a migraine…since double vision can be a sign of migraine. I hope you are listened to. Migraines are so complicated (no pun intended)!
