@CamGuthrie Cost of living is the concern?
Hiring more police for enforcement costs taxpayers money. Whether it comes from municipality, province, or federal government, that's our tax dollars.
Cameras cost the speeder.
Keep the cameras.
Food sovereignty is national sovereignty. Full stop. The good people of Wilmot have been under threat of expropriation. Farmers deserve our respect & support. 🇨🇦 agriculture sector is our strength. Sign the petition: https://t.co/Zp2z8XYZvx #Trade#onpoli
Ontario’s top civil servant raised concerns about Doug Ford’s visit to Washington D.C. after the PC party used images from the government-supported trip for partisan commercials and presented a campaign videographer and photographer as government staff.

NEW: More than two dozen television commercials, funded by Ontario taxpayers, were paused during the election period after the province’s auditor general deemed the advertising was “designed to promote the governing party” rather than the province itself.

Shocking to hear the Finance Minister failed to consider the $225M price tag to accelerate beer & wine into corner stores. Millions of taxpayer dollars at the expense of ON’s healthcare, education system & infrastructure. This is the definition of fiscal irresponsibility. #onpoli
TODAY!! Come #StandWithFarmers in #Wilmot and beyond.
Farmland is a finite resource. Bulldozing forests in Northern Ontario doesn't replace the #319AcresPerDay lost nor does the data reflect the acres being dug up for aggregate.
Numbers don't lie, but they can be manipulated.
"We couldn't believe that [the region] would spend the time and effort to do this at this point in time and not wait 6 weeks before it became viable crop or an additional couple months to make it into food products we all enjoy." #FightForFarmland#ONpoli https://t.co/Wl6POHAu5u
If you couldn't make it to the @ICC_NewHamburg 40th Anniversary Gala tonight, you can still show your appreciation & support by helping us reach our fundraising goal. Please consider donating today. Thank you, Jon for sharing the selfie and joining the ICC board this year!
Wilmot farmers made a moving statement to the @RegionWaterloo Council a few weeks ago regarding the expropriation of their land. Their opportunity to speak was given following persistent requests from multiple @UWaterloo students during the session. We applaud the farmer’s for their powerful statement and the students that supported them #ontag
There are still a lot of questions left unanswered for the potential expropriation of nearly 800 acres of Farmland in the @WilmotTownship.
Where is the public engagement? What does @grandriverca have to say about this?

Farms are businesses.
These farms bring jobs, & FOOD to our community and beyond. How would these business people feel if it were their businesses being threatened? Shall we ask them to sacrifice their land?
