I’m sorry but I gotta get this off my chest.

So far 5 months into Trump’s second term he has :

• Promised to end all current wars, but Ukraine is still not improving while he’s starting ANOTHER war in the Middle East.

• Turned ICE into a modern Gestapo.

• Promised lower gas prices, didn’t happen.

• Promised lower grocery prices, didn’t happen.

• Selling off dozens of millions of acres of federal land to the ultra elite for short term profit while sacrificing wilderness areas that were meant for ALL Americans to enjoy.

Yall voted for this dude begging for change that he promised, but has so far failed to deliver in almost every aspect.

I wanted to clear up missinformation I've seen about being apointed to a state board. When you fill out your application you do not have to claim a party. On mine it says no party preference.

When I was appointed it was all through email. I had to fill out the most extensive backround check I have ever done. When I was appointed I got an email with the notice of appointment. In my work no state officials have never once asked me anything about my political leanings or affiliation not once.

So for people to assume you have to make some pledge to a party to be appointed nothing could be further from the truth. The work you get appointed to do and state staff you deal with, its about the work nothing more nothing less.

It's deeply troubeling to me that people are using this moment to try to paint this person who committed this heinous act in a party box because they happened to be appointed. Some people are just bad people and quite frankly I could care less how he votes in November.

When this guy gets arrested and put in prison for the rest of his life the judge and jury are not going to be asking for voter registration. I'd encourage you to do the same.

Rather than spending time trying to figure out how this guy votes. Let's spend our time honoring the Hortman, and Hoffman families. The Speaker has 2 kids who nolonger have parents.

My hopes and prayers are that we can get back to respectfully disagreeing with each other and end the incendiary rehtoric and hatred.

If you have ever knocked doors cold you know it doesn't matter if it's the reddest Gop Door or Bluest Dfl Door most of us all want the same thing. A good neighborhood, a good place to raise children, and place where you feel safe.

Let's do our best to honor the families and victims and work towards healing the divide. I know if there is anywhere that can happen it's here in Minnesota. I believe in us and I hope you do too.

@JuliaEColeman I was so proud of my state to see support on both sides of the aisle. We are all people at the end of the day and need to show more compassion and empathy. More than ever we need to unite.

@paulgazelka Paul I may not agree with you always but I appreciate you speaking with a calm sense. Many don’t understand the role of appointing to the many bipartisan boards. We need to let things come to light and not draw conclusions. No matter the side this should have never happened.
