We condemn the attack on Bernard Mevs Hospital in Port-au-Prince. Violence against health facilities jeopardizes care for all Haitians and strains an already fragile system. Protecting healthcare facilities, patients, health workers, & medical activities is essential. #NotATarget
Our @Medishare4Haiti medical team is in rural #Haiti providing healthcare to several communities affected by the devastating earthquake. This is the first medical care that people in these areas have received since the earthquake. #ProjectMedishare#earthquakerelief ๐ท @hatnimlee
A 9-yr-old Haitian boy is expected to be separated by @CBP from his 19-yr-old brother he was traveling w/to the US. Older brother was traveling w/a student visa, but was stopped due to a missing a form & update in SEVIS. An attorney said the 9-yr-old will be sent to ORR tomorrow.
Proud to be working together with @MDCPS! @WCKitchen is providing 10,000 meals from restaurants to support...feeding students & helping local small restaurants in the process. Is smart solution to keep families fed and businesses open!
I've seen several folks saying they wish they had a pet to help with getting through this.
Remember that fostering is a thing. It gets a pet out of the shelter and gets you some companionship during this social distancing. It doesn't have to be permanent, though it can be.
@JennaGreen The hospital is such an important part of Haiti's heart. Hoping that by miracle, a donor or medical company looking to invest in saving lives comes in to revive the hospital, as a reflection of all the lives the hospital has revived. Sending lots of love and strength to Haiti.
Would be so devastating for Hospital Bernard Mevs to have to close its doors when so many lives are being saved there everyday๐ข. Heartbroken for everyone in #Haiti ๐

Direct Reliefโs emergency response teams in the Southeast U.S. and the Caribbean are coordinating with local and State-level response agencies to route critical medical resources as needed in the immediate aftermath of #Hurricane#Dorian.
This is what a true National Emergency looks like. Please support the NGOs that are working in Haiti especially during this time of civil unrest.

Over the past 48 hours, the civil unrest and violence in Haiti has escalated. The gravity of this situation for both our staff and our communities is extreme. Our health clinics and maternity centers remain... https://t.co/x7htZuFzeA
.@chief__20 & @Pat_Bethel93 of @CanesFootball spent the day volunteering at our Miami animal shelter, walking the dogs & bathing them to help them find loving homes. Just another reason to be a Canes Football fan๐๐ผ๐. Thanks guys!! #TheU#GoCanes#AdoptDontShop
