Today Jenna and Suzie facilitated a Kaizen event focusing on reducing pressure ulcers in spinal patients, staff from T&O, Neuro, GCC and Oncology identifed wastes and frustrations through a process flow leading on to ideas generation turning 4 of the 50+ ideas into PDSAs to test.
Today's Kaizen event is focusing on a 5s of the datix form for No/Low harm incident reporting. Our team consists of staff from across the organisation coming together to remove the unnecessary information and design a new template. #BetterNeverStops#QI

We recently heard from the Surgical services group at Stand up where Stephen discussed how the use of PDSA has led to development of MDT huddle boards, which has improved discharges, and Aimee talked about improvements made with referrals in to the GP liaison service #UHCWi
