We're sorry to report that Rebecca Cheptegei has sadly passed away.
The Ugandan has succumbed to her injuries after she was doused in petrol and set alight in her home in Kenya.
Cheptegei suffered burns to 75% of her body after an alleged attack by her former boyfriend.
Only last month, she represented Uganda in the marathon at the Paris Olympics.
