Maya said it for me : ' My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style'
@ThrillaRilla369 Do what you want... you obviously want to ... there will be pros and cons ... deal with them ... in the big thing of life its small fry to stress about
@TheRealJamieKay Bombastic, shallow, navel gazing, grandiosity with a sprinkling of Emperors new clothes syndrome and a large dollop of narcissism π ( tho my American relatives are exempt ... cos they think this too π€£) x
@LeahVtuber_ I'd 1) not believe them 2) be pissed off at their trying to control my personal freedom and 3) drink a bottle of wine and tell them to do one π€£
@stephenRB4 My mum. My Dad died 3 weeks ago. He made her porridge every morning for 52 years. She asked me to buy her a tiny pot now it's just her, that was a poignant buy!
@MimiKoko_vt 'You can please some people sometimes, but you can't please all the people all of the time'. Know your values. Know not everyone will share them. Know to hold your values even if somebody doesn't share them because that is your anchor. It's not personal, its different values!
@JordanCrestani Ach it doesn't have to last forever to have been of value, and your parents let you because they're good parents, who love you and respect your decisions and let you take risks ... cos they know its how you grow ... and hopefully ... they catch you when you fall! x
@muheediva01 But yep I did have a bad delivery with my 2nd which was traumatising, so not underestimating the reality of it. Fortunately my daughter and I both survived... and I still did it again!
@muheediva01 My mum told me: 'Its just at the moment you think you're going to die that the baby is born and you forget ... and do it again' and this might sound grim but it helped me pace myself and not panic cos IME 99% of it you don't feel like you're going to die ... I did it 3 times!
