My students were watching a Bill Nye video over the sun in class this morning and a lady named Karen came on to talk about the sun. The kids start laughing and making “Karen” jokes. My favorite one was, “excuse me, can I speak to the manager of the sun?” 😂😂

A coworker told me that last night her daughter ordered pizza&after the delivery girl dropped it off, she called the girl&said she had to call the cops bc a man(her roommate)entered the apt when she left&they’re required to report suspicious activity...yes her roommate is black🤦🏽‍♀️

This poor mother obviously thought she was doing the right thing, but this is why people with autistic children/family should NEVER call the police to help. They have no idea how to respond properly (do they ever?). It’s so heartbreaking. #AutismAwareness
