In 2023, that wage is STILL $7.25.
You can't raise a family of 4, never mind rent a one-bedroom apartment, on a minimum wage salary. #RaiseTheWage
I’m deeply disappointed in the #SCOTUS decision on affirmative action.
The IUPAT believes strongly that all working people deserve a fair shot at building a future for themselves and their families, and this decision is regressive and harmful.
"Joining IUPAT and having a career in the finishing trades may not be for every woman, but it is for any woman. We make excellent wages, we have a pension, annuity and great health coverage. So while I have a wonderful husband, and I do love him, I don't need him."

The Texas trigger law unleashes devastating consequences on working families. It subverts freedom to control one’s own body, threatens liberty, and sets the stage for more state incursions against basic rights. #1u#txlege 1/2
The housing crisis is serious and getting worse ! Working Texans deserve better and a good quality of life. Instead they are working themselves to death to survive
