We have the solution. €30m investment from Government will bring Capitation up to €76 per child. We will insure a lot more investment comes in from government through our budget submission. @padraigosull @mmcgrathtd

Just €30m would raise ECCE capitation to €76 per child per week, and provide emergency relief from cost pressures which were not adequately addressed through Core Funding. Preschools are closing.

Its so important that the foundations are right. Unfortunately ECCE services have been chronically underfunded for many years and this has rocked the foundation. The government and the department have failed ECCE providers through this new Core Funding .
