In my meeting with leaders of Greater Luweero at Timnah School Grounds in Kasana Town, I tasked the leaders to come up with a comprehensive plan to keep our children in school and reduce dropout rates. If our children are not in school on account of school fees, then we must, as a country, move towards free education at all levels. We also discussed increasing the PDM funds while consolidating the gains of existing beneficiaries. Our priorities remain on household income / wealth creation, infrastructural development, market integration and education for all. Let’s seek for these first and the rest will come.
I congratulate Comrade Kissakyamukama upon winning the trust of H.E the President and being appointed as a Presidential Assistant on Service Delivery and, further, securing the President's attendance as Chief Guest at a thanksgiving to be held this Saturday, May 24, at Degeya Primary School, in Maddu, Gomba district. Best wishes and solidarity, Comrade! FK
Adingana amawolu agajamu omukkuto. We have implemented several interventions for poverty eradication, changing our programs each time. This time, we decided to put the funds (PDM) directly into the hands of the people.
Therefore, I was happy to be back in Nakaseke to witness for myself how this program is progressing. Nalubowa Aidah, like others, is a testament to the fact that PDM has helped as intended.
Kazo District Local Government has been selected to benefit from the Land Economic Competitiveness Project (LECP), formerly known as the Systematic Land Adjudication and Certification (SLAAC) program.

On behalf of the @GovUganda , I have moved a motion for a Resolution of Parliament to pay tribute to His Holiness the Late Pope Francis, the Supreme Pontiff of the Catholic Church, for his selfless and dedicated service to the Catholic Church and humanity. Below is my detailed presentation;

State Minister for Minerals, Hon. @PNyamutoro has presented before Parliament, the Mineral Production Sharing Agreement for Kilmebe Mines.
The Agremeent is between Government (@MEMD_Uganda) and Sarrai Group Ltd, Nile Fibreboard Ltd and the Uganda National Mining Company.
I visited Ms. Biira Pelucy in Kasese Municipality, who, despite being visually impaired, has transformed her life through the PDM by running a successful poultry business, earning UGX 7 million from her latest sale. Her journey illustrates the government's push for self-reliance and income generation.
Government programs like PDM, Emyooga, NAADS, and Entandikwa aim to uplift Ugandans. These funds belong to the people, and without active engagement, people risk missing opportunities and failing to get out of poverty.
I congratulate the UPDF leadership on the excellent organisation of the joint pass-out ceremony across various military institutions. This innovation allows us to gather recruits virtually in one ceremony, which is a significant improvement over the past practice of moving from one school to another.
I commend the young soldiers for their outstanding performance and thank the instructors for their excellent training, which was evident in the well-executed exercises I witnessed.
The way people are so angry over Sam Kutesa’s church you could think he built a guillotine. If the former minister had put up a classy discotheque for the people of Sembabule to dance the night away, nobody would be telling him about hospitals, schools or latrines. But there’s something about church that rubs people the wrong way.
Anyway, thanks Hon Kutesa for this lovely house of worship
Today, we were elated to host @KagutaMuseveni at the commissioning ceremony of All Saints Church, Sembabule.
We appreciate his gospel of wealth creation, and unity in Sembabule.
I reiterate my commitment towards economic transformation and prosperity of the people of Mawogola
In Busunju, I toured development projects(Coffee, piggery, Dairy) done by Rev Fr. Emmanuel Kiyemba the Parish priest of St. Joseph Catholic Church. I commend the Catholic church in Busunju - Mityana District, Fr. Emmanuel Kiyemba, Hon. Godfrey Kiwanda and other Ugandans who have taken the wealth creation message and are providing good leadership by way of example.
Deputy Speaker @Thomas_Tayebwa: Why is it that in Uganda, when it threatens to rain, power goes? Hon. Minister, why is power in Uganda scared of rain? #PlenaryUg
Thank you @JenniferMuheesi for tirelessly encouraging and supporting coffee farming in Kazo.
Now that the rains are here ,let’s embrace this season and make the most out of it.@978KazoFM @KazoDLG @OWC_ug @KagutaMuseveni
