There are roughly 170 volcanoes in the United States. Around 130 are in Alaska (~76%) and most of the others are in the Cascades and in Hawaii. Many are considered active since they have erupted within the last 10,000 years. Some of the highest-threat volcanoes (according to USGS) are very popular destinations for recreation and tourism, including Mount Rainier, Lassen Peak, Kilauea, and Mount Hood (below, photo from KGW)

Today was fire and science education day at 6th grade Youth Camp in Eagle Lake. This week camp hosted students from Richmond Elementary School. Our team members from Bureau of Land Management - California, Lassen National Forest, and CAL FIRE Lassen-Modoc Unit had a great time!

@ericgarland These events of been going on since at least the early 80s. I have family members who have been molested by him. I have no doubt there are hundreds and hundreds of victims.
