Tutee showed his sparx maths - very complicated compound interest question, but he had never been taught,or come across, the formula. Admitted he’d used AI for homework in the past and now he’s stuck because the homework is all too difficult to do without.

@shazmp23 We use it in our family, and I grew up on the Wirral with a mum from London, so nowhere near Kidderminster. I’ve never found anyone outside of the family who has heard of it. I was beginning to think we had made it up.

@adamboxer1 @MrMattock There’s a requirement to write something like 12,000 words at Master’s level to get a PGCE which then equates to, I think, 60 credits towards a Master’s . I did know one person who turned down the PGCE bit and and just qualified to teach but many might not be offered that.

@GardenBrocante Sending sympathy. When we moved back from NL, we found this 12m high school at the bottom of the garden on what used to be tennis courts. I really miss the sky. We rented the house out and didn’t think to change address on the land registry. Not sure we could have stopped it.

@thosethatcan We’ve previously bought back a car that was written off and had it repaired. Insurance companies seem to write off cars quite lightly.
