“Now, let’s have a bull sale” - yes you did, Mac @canadasbulls . Been 20 years since I’ve been to the sale and it’s still the same grassroots, personable, family feel. A bull sells every 50 seconds for over 5 hours (let those logistics sink in!) Congrats M.C. Quantock & team 🐂

@USaskEnt@TylerWist1 @hectorcarabido @AAFC_Canada@ZhouNx Any plans to take this aphid threshold research to a larger scale with in-field sprayed/unsprayed trials? I’ve heard of lentil fields sprayed a week ago at 40/sweep and aphids are back 1 week later at 80/sweep. This level of reinfestation surprised me - is this typical? 🤷♀️

Looking forward to hearing @harder_water sing from the mountaintop at @SoilsCrops next week! His presentation about snowmelt infiltration couldn’t be more timely after last year’s drought. Excited to learn about his research 🤓. And yes, registration is still open!
Going to be talking about how to understand and predict snowmelt infiltration potential at next weeks @SoilsCrops. Still time to register I believe😉Virtual format + poor time management means I'm chatting from a ridgetop in the Canadian Rockies during the live part...🤔

It’s cold out. Pour yourself a hot cup of coffee and read all about soil residual herbicides before pulse crops. Soil residuals are a different beast than foliars and this fact sheet explains why, so you know what to expect when using them 👇
Soil residual herbicides provide different modes of action that are critical for managing herbicide-resistant weeds. Read our new fact sheet to learn how soil residual herbicides can be your pulse crop’s first layer of defense against weeds: https://t.co/gQDVl29jfX #AgTwitter
