Thank you Bilqeez at @British_Airways tonight who rearranged travel for me & the children after @FlyLoganair cancelled our connecting flight. She was so friendly and kind, when I can only imagine how stressful their job must be right now.
This is the current situation. Below is a link to Beat’s open letter to the Scottish government, urging them to reconsider plans to make calorie labelling on menus mandatory in Scotland.

S1 pupils participated in a badminton tournament. The event was fantastic, with 17 pupils taking part over lunch time. Well done to all those who participated, we look forward to running more events in the near future. #celebratesuccess#REACH

A sweet moment captured amidst many that were not so sweet. We were not made to learn all in the same classroom, with the same teacher, who has no idea how to be a teacher & is also required to be the bringer of all the snacks. Thank goodness our breaks can look like this 🙌🏼🌊
During lockdown, Mason wrote a story to enter in the Shetland Library Young Writer competition.. & he won his category! The theme was The Cave - here is his entry if anyone would like to read it.
So proud 📚🌟 @ShetlandLibrary@SandwickJHS
So much respect for Freddie Flintoff for such an honest & insightful documentary - so brave. I think this will open some difficult conversations but I hope it will save some lives. We need more understanding, & to stop automatically complimenting weight loss.
In amongst lockdown & homeschooling stresses, delighted to have been able to celebrate getting distinction for my dissertation & being offered my first Staff Nurse post in A&E 📚💉@OUstudents@OUScotland @RCNNQN @StNurseProject @WeStudentNurse@OpenUniversity
Acknowledgment of these ’times of crisis’ with sole focus on 'bad numbers’, recommendation of 800 calories a day to induce ketosis, the weighing out of tomatoes. Not a helpful or well considered message for those already battling in a pandemic with restrictive eating disorders.
I don’t believe terms like “lockdown belly” are health-positive. They are shaming. They say you failed at keeping your shape during a global pandemic. What about positive motivations? what about safeguarding people with #eatingdisorders in the messaging of this show? @Channel4
Many hours spent away from these little faces, much coffee & not enough sleep.. my dissertation is submitted 🙌🏼📚💉
