OK here we go. Conceivably the greatest, most technical accomplishment in the history of natural history art: nearly 4000 glass models of flowers created by Rudolph and Leopold #Blaschka for @HarvardMuseum. None of the objects in here look like glass.

I found this fascinating, though sad too.
In 1785, Miss Morgan, "a great wonder of nature" who stood 3ft tall was inviting the ladies and gentlemen of Dublin to pay a shilling to see her at an apartment on Nassau St, Dublin. She was known as the window fairy.
