I feel like if your congressperson's name isn't on this discharge petition, you should probably call them and ask if they think public servants should be allowed to get rich through insider trading:

@SenFettermanPA Is there anything you can do to help this local apprentice of the Carpenters Union? A good man, a father, detained because of nonsense political manuvering. His family misses him terribly. https://t.co/I29NWXSHax
@RepDeluzio I mean, sure. But can we also talk about releasing Jesus Teran, a local man who fled here from Venezuela with his wife and two kids, tried to follow the rules and live his own American Dream, only to get detained by ICE at his scheduled check in?
@Timodc I feel like that's a big part of the immigration story most people are missing. They promised mass deportation. They're not really doing that because there's no money for their donors in that. Mass detainment, on the other hand...
He fled persecution. He fed the needy. "Heโs been faithfully appearing at ICE appointments for more than four years ... complying with everything heโs supposed to do. All of a sudden, heโs detained."
@Carrasquillo on the arrest of a carpenter named Jesus. https://t.co/EyCfuFcsna
@BulwarkOnline@Carrasquillo Everyone should share this story. ICE isn't just detaining bad people, and I have to believe most Americans didn't mean for this to happen.
As the article noted, the family's church has a fundraiser: https://t.co/shtCvUYmAA
@ConorLambPA@GReschenthaler For folks who want to help, share this story with your friends. Let people know that ICE isn't just detaining bad people. I have to believe most Americans didn't mean for this to happen.
As the article noted, the family's church has a fundraiser: https://t.co/PNH4JAfn07
Jesus was beloved. He gave food to the needy and when they created a communal garden to forge ties between the local church & his Latino one, Jesus was there, tilling the ground, repairing a faulty tiller, & watering the plants twice a week.
Then ICE grabbed him at his check in
Really appreciate Adrian reporting this story out of my old district. As I said in the piece I know these people, yes they are conservative (@GReschenthaler reps them now) but they are also fair and they will have a heart for this man Jesus if they know his story.
@GovernorShapiro There's a guy in my community who was in an apprenticeship program with the Carpenter's Union. He got detained at his scheduled ICE check-in. Good man. Wonderful family. Always followed the rules. Is there anything you can do?
https://t.co/I29NWXSHax
Jesus was working hard, building things, and providing for his family.
Now his family relies on their church, which has been providing meals, and taxpayers are paying to keep Jesus locked up.
Unless you're a GEO shareholder or a govt official on the take, you're getting screwed
@ConorLambPA This story breaks my heart. It's your district now, @RepDeluzio - is there anything you can do to persuade the administration to get this guy home to his family in Imperial?
@Timodc I don't really think it much matters how extreme the attention-seeking fringe of a group gets. I want to figure out how to reach the ๐๐ normies enabling all this suffering.
@Timodc The first time I saw my mom after the election, she said "oh thank God you still have hair! I know you knocked doors for Kamala." She saw posts about some young women shaving their heads in protest and thought that represented all of us. This story reminds me of that.
