It was time for another Blaze artwork - this time, in the uekawa style and holding a Chaos Emerald! (Yes, I've heard about the Sol Emeralds...but I didn't wanna draw that)

Blaze and Cream board the Flying Battery (stage 8) after clawing their way out of the mushroom forest. They catch a rare breath in the hangar—until one of those massive intake vents decides to go full psycho. Cream’s standing too close, looking around like an idiot, and whoosh—yanked clean off her feet. She shoots up the duct with a startled yelp, leaving Blaze and Cheese staring at empty air. Cheese loses his tiny mind. Full spiral. Worst-case scenarios, the whole tragic package. Blaze just watches, cool as ever. She’ll get the kid back. Obviously.

MEANWHILE…
The vent spits Cream out onto the open roof plating. Walking around aimlessly until the defense systems light her up like a Christmas tree. After every single warning Blaze ever barked at her, she’s now sprinting and weaving across freezing metal while missiles lock, scream, and explode right behind her heels. And then we have Blaze. Aaawwww poor widdle Blaze…still stuck on the bottom of this flying death-trap, brain spinning until—click—she’s got a plan. Solid one, too. Only problem? Getting Cheese to shut up long enough to hear it.

“Alright!! ENOUGH!! Listen to me, Cheese…” Little dude keeps wiggin’ the fuck out until Blaze snaps.

“I SAID LISTEN!!!” The roar freezes him midair. “See the emerald in my pocket. Take it to Cream and stay with her. Protect each other I can track those things like a magnet. I will FIND YOU. GO. NOW! MOVE YOUR ASS!!” Cheese snatches it and rockets up the same duct.

On the roof, the pipsqueak’s still running for her life, heart hammering, explosions chewing the air at her heels. Poor widdle Cream, doing her best not to become ash. Blaze needs to grab her already so I can draw Sandopolis.🚀🔵🔵
