Richard Barren was a principal of Langwarrin Park primary school.

This position is one of trust and authority. A principal is responsible for the safety and welfare of children.

Over a 13 month period he used the app Grindr to send and receive child abuse images

Barren's own lawyers admitted their client's actions were ' abhorrent and vile'.

His sentence >> 3 months jail... 3 months despite his abhorrent and vile actions.
