I don’t think many Kenyans have fully realized it yet, but we are living through one of the darkest periods in our nation's history. A time that arguably rivals only the British colonial era.
Kenyans deserve justice that is transparent, reasoned, and accountable.
Today, I have petitioned the Judicial Service Commission @jsckenya to investigate three Court of Appeal judges who suspended High Court orders blocking the Kenya-US Health Cooperation Framework, but withheld their reasons for doing so until October 2026.
My concern is not that they ruled against me. It is that an immediately enforceable decision was issued without reasons, effectively frustrating a timely appeal to the @THE_SCOK and denying Kenyans meaningful access to justice.
Judicial independence must be protected. But independence and accountability must go hand in hand. No institution is above the Constitution.

Kenyans are living in a constant state of national trauma. Almost every few weeks, the country is hit by another painful event; killings, abductions, accidents, economic shocks, corruption scandals, protests, fires, collapsed buildings, insecurity, unemployment, or political chaos.
The trauma never truly settles before another one arrives. It is as if the nation is permanently trapped in survival mode.
What makes it worse is that these events are not isolated in the minds of citizens. They accumulate. People carry unresolved grief, fear, anger, hopelessness, and anxiety year after year without any meaningful national psychiatric or emotional support. Many Kenyans are functioning while emotionally exhausted.
At the same time, the country operates under a nonstop political campaign environment. The political temperature is always high. Before one election cycle emotionally ends, another one begins psychologically. Citizens barely get the opportunity to simply live, heal, build families, grow careers, or enjoy stability without politics dominating their mental space. Many people are constantly worrying about leadership, economic uncertainty, tribal tensions, or what the next election may bring.
The result is a population whose decisions, reactions, and even political choices are often shaped more by trauma, fear, exhaustion, and emotional manipulation than by clarity or long-term thinking. A traumatized population is easier to distract, easier to divide, easier to emotionally provoke, and easier to control.
This national trauma is silently affecting the quality of life of millions of Kenyans. You can see it in the rising anger, depression, hopelessness, online hostility, substance abuse, emotional numbness, and the growing sense of detachment among many young people. Even normal conversations now carry tension, frustration, and fatigue.
A country cannot continuously survive on crisis mode and expect citizens to remain mentally healthy. Kenya urgently needs not just economic and political reforms, but also serious national conversations around collective healing, mental health, emotional stability, and the psychological wellbeing of its people.
@_la719@lancesdarcyy The issues among and between the cast, director cutting scenes, jealous girlfriend, male lead being arrogant, unprofessional and a snob, production being unprofessional....all these are "allegedly" we have no receipts!
Macron calling himself a Pan Africanist is the worst insult to Pan Africanism in our generation. The fact that this insult has been uttered in Nairobi is even more painful
Removing Ruto in itself will be the biggest lesson ever to any politician. Anyone else who comes after that will have to deliver of face the same fate. The Citizenry will be emboldened more to demand better governance. So it is very IMPORTANT that we remove him.
One day we shall talk about how masochist Kenyan laws are about any form of ownership - business, skills, homes, vehicles, land, livestock etc. The ownership journey in Kenya feels like a punishment. Bribes, friction, licenses and rents, approvals. It is a yoke 1/n…
THE FIRST MAN IN HISTORY TO BREAK 2 HOURS IN A MARATHON!!!🤯🤯🤯
Sabastian Sawe 🇰🇪 has just shattered the World Record at the London Marathon, running 1:59:30!!!
He makes history as the first man to officially break 2 hours in the marathon.
Yomif Kejelcha 🇪🇹 in his debut ran 1:59:41 to become 2nd fastest alltime, while Jacob Kiplimo 🇺🇬 finished in 2:00:28.
All under the previous World Record.
Death caused by illness is tragic, but death caused by a broken system is painful.
Politicians are the ones enabling all these sufferings.
Sasa ambulance imeenda kubebea gavana mahindi na patient anafaa kuenda referral.
We’re watching in 4k how this country truly operates - the blood spilling
/walls go up against those pushing for the right thing. Assets sold to the highest bidder, goon promotion, spendthrift statehouse, collapsing institutions and the cementing of theft/thuggery as an ideology
