@RobMKendall not sure if you got a follow up about the Noblesville High School condiment saga… I asked my Junior yesterday and he said they get NO, condiments unless they pay. Even for fries, burgers, etc-not one.
INSANE!
@RobMKendall local governments should budget based on income not budget and then tax for their budget. In regards to property tax, maybe a one time “sales tax” on the buying/selling of homes. In Hanilton County, that’s estimated to be over $100mil a year.
@RobMKendall those million square feet and dollar businesses don’t pay property taxes anyway. Most local governments are incentivizing them to come and satay by abatements
@RobMKendall guess who got their property tax assessment today…and guess whose assessment (and thus taxation) went up 19% without a single improvement to the home. Yup, this guy right here.
@spaldofiscal@RobMKendall Yeah but I bet you didn’t pay taxes on your stock until you sold. You’d be upset if an arbitrary assessment was assigned to your stock and you had to pay taxes every year on them. - you can’t really compare the two
@RobMKendall want more proof to the property tax insanity. Just got my assessment… up $54k or 19% from last year. Without a single improvement to my home!
@Mets is there a way to exchange tickets for later in the season? My boys and I were supposed to attend todays home opener but can’t now because of the postponement until tomorrow.
@POTUS Not even close Mr President… plus it doesn’t matter when Milk is over $3 a gal in Indiana, eggs are abut $3.50-4 per dozen, bread is over $2 per loaf… no one is saving any money here.
@RobMKendall They should pay for them out of current designated funds already given to schools. Re-budget appropriately. It should not increase the amount given to schools “to pay” for these things that should already be included in our current taxes.
