Here’s the announcement I’ve been waiting 2 years to make! On May 28th I have a new book being released by @HarperCollins entitled LESSONS IN LIBERTY--a book of patriotic self-help offering 30 life lessons from 10 extraordinary Americans. This is the book I’ve wanted to write my entire life. Amazing endorsements from @PeteHegseth, @SpencerKlavan, Richard Brookhiser, and @wil_da_beast630. A huge shoutout to the best editor around, @HannahGraceLong. I hope everyone will pre-order it now.
This is 🔥: “The larger point, is that the costs of ignorance have gone up—not down—in this modern era. Knowing what is true, what is dubious, and how to know the difference becomes indispensable as adults increasingly rely on bespoke sources or AI as an all-purpose answerbot.”
"It’s a reminder that a good education is never just about acquiring a vaporous set of skills. It always comes back to informing judgment and cultivating discernment." — @rickhess99 https://t.co/SwZcghB4lm
This is 🔥 . . . the essential foundation of liberal democracy is the perpetuation of our institutions . . . it isn’t flashy, but it is powerfully true. Incredible piece by @SL_Schaeffer https://t.co/USKURI88j6
The Ed Reform industry promotes a constant churn of instruction, curriculum, assessment, and accountability schemes. Unfortunately, this undermines a simple approach that identifies what works to boost student learning and then persuades local policy makers to adopt those policies.
This is absolute 🔥 and truth from the always wise @rpondiscio. I noticed when I would do publicity for my books, often the interviewers simply assumed most American teachers were part of a mindless cabal of pseudo-Marxist America haters. Not true at all…https://t.co/tXxnrWaMFP
New from yours truly. A new survey might surprise those who think our schools are hotbeds of anti-American sentiment. 62% of teachers believe schools should teach that America is “a fundamentally good country. A solid majority think schools should teach students “to be patriotic and loyal toward the U.S.”

This was a great review in @FDRLST by @EverymanComm about one of the most important and inspiring books of the year, @roddreher’s Living in Wonder! https://t.co/8RigCLg4xQ
“First came the assault on their mental health through social media, then reels eroded their attention spans, and now AI drains their capacity to ever be fully, genuinely educated.”
Teachers…this article from @JeremyAdams6 is well worth the read:
"Moral drift, normative desensitization—call it what you will—is now unfolding in our schools at such a scale and speed that it marks a titanic fork in the road for the future of American education."
So, so honored to be published in @firstthingsmag this morning. This was such an important publication to me when I was a young man, looking up to those who could articulate the magic of being a human being. @Beanie0597@dailystem@RealClearBooks

The AI Cheating Epidemic
“We cheated the whole year, and you never caught us. They had escaped the noose of accountability. They weren’t relieved. Instead, they reveled, seeming to relish being scholastic frauds.”
— Jeremy S. Adams (@JeremyAdams6)
“The old truths about the value of study & hard work, of deferred gratification & determination…are no less true simply because they are old. Students need to be reminded that their current circumstances are not their inevitable fate.”

@DPFrazier@RealClearBooks@JayDevilliers Thank you so much for your kind reply. My worry in writing this essay was that maybe my experience was an isolated one and perhaps I was just being sensitive. But I’ve gotten enough of a response from people that it is clear to me you and I are not alone in this experience.
Pickleball is America’s fastest-growing sport. But here’s the dirty secret: if you play singles, you’re not just competing—you’re lonely. 🏓

NEW: Jeremy S. Adams (@JeremyAdams6) on the problem with pickleball for @RealClearBooks.
“It’s no surprise that anything new—and wildly popular—in modern America is expected to be breezy, amusing, and purely recreational.”
