@elonmusk I'm willing to bet whoever took that screenshot did some initial prompting to get Claude to give such direct answers in the way they wanted it to. This is what Sonnet 4.6 says with zero pre-prompting.
Real talk. I think the "personality cult" ideal of content creator communities is diminishing entirely. Fewer and fewer are going to feel that level of influence as the content creator space skews more toward a small contingency of hyper influential individuals. It is taking a similar turn that movie stardom and television stardom took. New mediums allowed for chaotic growth for many in the early days, but it will always narrow and balance. SO many verticals are going faceless, hinging on evergreen content, and pressing on with videos that prioritizes the individual viewership rather than community cultivation.
@Easthill4978@AnneOfTheBooks Why WOULDN’T Satan do that?
Using an adulterated version of the truth is EXACTLY what he did to tempt Christ in the wilderness.
Why wouldn’t Satan use the same tactics on us?
@JayHill53127@JuliusCaesar108@kevinmyoung Alright... this has been fun... but if your guide for measuring a person's competency is in any way based on the number of grandparents they currently have, then I don't think I'm the one needing to concern myself with a lack of intellect or integrity. Good luck, and God bless.
@JayHill53127@JuliusCaesar108@kevinmyoung So you started this by trying to get me to answer a rhetorical question and now you’re just being a troll for the sake of it? 😂
It’s seeming like a lot of people treated that feeling after Charlie died like a “New Year’s Resolution” type of change.
The landscape has shifted and goal posts have moved permanently. Things shouldn’t be the same again and they need not be.
We are in a fight for our faith and our lives in a world that increasingly wants basic Christian values to die off with us.
Again… are you simply trying to be disingenuous by asking me to answer “yes” or “no” to the question “Can’t you read?” while communicating in a text based format? My original answer of “How is this relevant?” answered the original question because it obviously implies that I have read the commandment in question and had a follow up question of “How is that relevant?” What are we doing here?
Talk about being disingenuous 🤣 You think his question was actually serious? I’m not going to dignify the question “Can’t you read?” with a serious answer when we’re on an app where the sole requirement for interaction is being able to read. God bless you, man. 😂 Thanks for the laugh!
@JayHill53127@JuliusCaesar108@kevinmyoung I appreciate the condescension… truly grateful for it… but I’m still over here wondering how the 9th commandment is relevant to the conversation.
@kevinmyoung Haha! Touché, brother 😂 I still disagree that I’ve said ANYTHING the Bible hasn’t. I hope to debate with you again on more. This was fun.
I do have one more question for you though….
Do you think abortion pleases God?
There are definitely matters that split the church. It’s unfortunate. However, you’re distilling this down to an absolute that anyone confident in their belief is inherently wrong…
I know this is a trite response… but are you confident of that belief that you have about the Bible and Christians? Would that immediately make you wrong by your own logic?
Confidence does not equal inexperience. We aren’t all flopping around out here with Dunning-Kruger on full display.
I know the years I’ve put into study. I know the academia that lead me to the degree I hold in this very subject. I’m confident BECAUSE I’ve studied. Not due to a lack thereof.
Thanks for your input. I understand it wasn’t meant as an attack. I hope you don’t see my response as aggressive in nature. I just want to make it clear where I stand.
I’m the one with willful misunderstanding? I’ve given an answer to your hermeneutical evaluation, and you’ve ignored my questions about why you seem so intent on running interference for death and killing.
The willful misunderstanding seems firmly rooted in whatever agenda is behind your sheep’s clothing.
There’s your ad hominem 😉
