Building a cleaner future @CleneraSolar. Proud father, BYU Cougar, Cornell MBA. What matters is how we treat others and how history books will treat us.
Hey @ChaseSupport I didn’t receive some expected Sapphire Reserve travel credits, and a call didn’t resolve. V frustrating given the $$$ we’ve spent on the card (fee + usage). Main reason we felt card was worth it is travel perks, so hopefully this can be made right. Thanks.
Just realized that, in the same way that meeting and phone calls have given way to texting/emails, a lot of direct human interaction today will give way AI assistants interacting with other AI assistants.
Now, thanks to accelerating electrification (EVs, heat pumps etc) and an American manufacturing rennaisance (thanks IRA+CHIPS), REPEAT Project estimates that under current policies, US electricity use will grow 1.8-2.3%/year through 2035, rates not seen in nearly two decades.
@AriPeskoe I’d love to see data on the incentives electric-only and combined utilities provide for electrification (eg credit for gas furnace—>heat pump). My local utility is electric-only and nil incentives for electrification!
>11,000MW of gas & coal plants offline in Texas's electricity market yesterday, as the state struggled through another round of punishing heat. When resources that are supposed to be dependable aren't, things can go bad fast. Coal & gas aren't so dependable after all it seems...

I just love this figure of Colorado River water usage from the @nytclimate today. I want a poster of it. Water law is animal law, at least in the West.
@ReedEHanson Nice! Couldn’t help but to look up set list—yes, heavy on newer stuff, but you got Jimi Thing, 41 (my fave), Warehouse, and Dancing Nancies. https://t.co/4RCncohUou
@duncancampbell As it relates to sustainability in companies generally, as long as it’s seen as a cost center (ie embedded in finance, procurement, marketing, etc.) at worst it’s in conflict with revenue, and at best it’s window dressing. When it becomes aligned with product, that’s real!
Welcoming @enlight_re to @NasdaqExchange!
