Don’t think I’ve been to a movie theater since The Gentleman in January 2020. #youcanseeeverything got me back. It’s absolutely mind-bending. The third act is mind-breaking with its twists and turns.
No spoilers, but three observations:
@nathanfielder is a modern-day auteur. He and @A24 may save American cinema.
Elizabeth Holmes is not the craziest person in her household (by a long shot).
The truth can be so hard (and occasionally impossible) to find.
@JohnHolbein1 I’m really shocked how even current college students don’t really monitor or use email that much. I was certain this had changed during the past 20 years but it hasn’t. They’re all in for a rude awakening when they realize that’s all you do in a job.

Every decade or so, D Magazine updates its ranking of the best steakhouses in Dallas. And we put in the work. Over the past year, we visited 35 steakhouses in Dallas and its suburbs, spending $16,958 in expense money. Our dining critic judged steakhouses on whether they made each night feel like a special occasion, plus the quality and cook of the beef, wine and cocktail programs, service, and atmosphere. (An over-the-top dessert helps, too.) Then he revisited the top spots to check on consistency—giving no second chances to restaurants that disappointed. At these sky-high prices, few customers can afford to offer a second chance.
The result is our new Top Eight. Half of the eight are new since our last steakhouse issue came out in 2018. Read now to meet the newcomers and learn the state of our scene, and keep an eye out for more juicy info in the coming weeks, including the best steaks that aren't at steakhouses and a guide to deciphering beef marketing hype. https://t.co/DGZblRqDyg
From the trembling of aspen gold in the Tusas Mountains to a riot of red, orange, and yellow in the Gila National Forest, the wonders of autumn in New Mexico spark a desire to get out and explore. https://t.co/3I2NRDQXvU
Valenc has officially launched!
Chemical manufacturers still spend weeks creating and updating safety data sheets. Valenc is AI-powered software designed to make this process easier. It pulls supplier data from PDFs, uses a deterministic rules engine to classify products, creates SDSs and GHS labels, and keeps track of global regulatory changes.
