@Telstra The Fingal Bay (2315, NSW) cell tower has been down for over 24 hours. Are you aware of this and is there any update on when this will be fixed? Tower Name: Telstra Site Marine Drive off Rocky Point Rd & Farm Rd. Site ID: 133683
@Telstra Hey Jimmy, I’ve been checking but Telstra doesn’t seem aware of the issue (see screenshot below). The issue is definitely with the tower as I have 4 other Telstra devices that have no service when they usually would have a very strong connection at the same location.
Another day, another family split up by the #SydneyMetro doors closing too quickly and without sufficient notice when departing Chatswood. Lucky this time it was only one grandparent left behind this time and the kids are safely onboard with the other grandparent. FIX IT
@atoenoji @ellakasmar@SydneyMetro If you call the Metro in its current state “turn up and go then the whole Sydney Trains network by that definition is also “turn up and go”. #SydneyMetro
This issue could be solved with a visible internal and external countdown as there is no warning for those boarding the metro that the doors are about to shut. The only notification is an audio recording INSIDE the carriage. I hope the Hard of Hearing aren't hurt in the mean time
After thousands of KMs and months of testing #SydneyMetro is well and truely still in the testing phase. An example yesterday occurred after the doors slammed shut in front of peoples faces, some elderly, as they were still trying to board. "Computer says NO" is not acceptable!😒
@AidenHowlett @TrainsInfo Agreed. Some clear stickers/signage would be welcome. It feels a bit unfinished on the inside in my opinion.
Hopefully the trainspotters calm down over the coming weeks 🤞
@robertwhitehead (2/2) My biggest concern today was how quickly and suddenly the doors closed on many people that tried boarding at Chatswood. Since it had been 16 mins the station was packed and only 3/4 had boarded. There is currently no warning/countdown of closing doors to those boarding!
A trip from Waverton to Macquarie Park used to take 20 mins flat pre-metro it has just taken me 44 minutes to do the same trip. Including a 16 minute wait at Chatswood to only have the doors slam shut in my face with no warning to then have to wait for the next one #SydneyMetro
@robertwhitehead The longest possible wait between trains pre-metro from Waverton was 15 minutes, so in the worst possible scenario it was a total of 35 minutes. If you apply the same logic including my wait time today the whole trip today took me 51 minutes. Clearly a lot to be improved on. 1/2
