On L2 you can send me a signature on a thing; i immediately know that if I choose to use it on L1 then, if L1 works, I can irrevocably make the thing you signed happen. You come up with a better term??

No one’s claiming state channels are more final than L1, apart from the additional proofs the receiver can use. Liveness is a much bigger issue so pick on that!! What would you prefer/what angle are you shooting?

Maybe not if you were buying my house

But I'm not going to overstate this, just an opinion! :)

Once you've signed something and set it to me, you *can't* undo it, and I can *always* claim it, as long as the L1 chain is working and will accept my transactions.
