@pjm1kbw@DavidLammy You must remember how wise and omniscient Mr Lammy is: even including that Cyprus is a member of NATO - which not many people knew! 😱😂
The issue at the heart of this great judgment is quite local and modest, but it represents a truly Orwellian attempt by the US govt to pervert the truth. See esp pp 1, 32 + 37. https://t.co/nDD3KgfOmT
I’m not given to public praising, esp commercial entities, but today’s Sunday Times has first class articles by @matthewsyed, @joshglancy, @rcolvile, @jeremyclarkson, + Jason Cowley. First class stuff - but inevitably depressing. Also excellent but so sad re Sudan @christinalamb
@dolphinmaria@LordThurlow No, he doesn’t. As a member of the UK Supreme Court he had the courtesy title of Lord but wasn’t (and isn’t) a member of the House of Lords - unlike the old days when its Appellate Committee was the highest court in the UK and its judges were peers.
@BaronessDeech I share your disappointment at what would be another stealth tax, but don’t be so gloomy. EVs are still much the best cars and even this govt can’t force us to go to smelly petrol stations to put fuel in our cars (at greater expense). Be positive! 😁
@Barrister79 Husqvarna 435X AWD. It’s great. AWD = All Wheel Drive which means it even does slopes. There are other models of course. Operated via an app so you could control it remotely to some extent but occasional needs local action
@familylaw The mother sought a payment for the 17-year old child’s gap year of …….. £750,000! She didn’t get it! The father was a member of a Middle Eastern ruling family, but still.
