I have been pretty critical of Trump on Iran, but this is a shamefully dishonest mischaracterization of what he said, which is that he does not want that to happen, and that he thinks that higher gas prices are worth it to ensure that it doesn't. https://t.co/712o3ic2kz
These headlines are a disgrace and another example of why nobody trusts the media. If you watch the full clip, it's clear what he is saying is that high oil prices are a small price to pay for stopping Iran from getting a nuke that would allow them to take out US cities.
Exactly.
Trump's phrasing was a jumbled mess, as is often the case. But clear from the context that he wasn't advocating attacks on LA and SD. He was defending the Iran war and the high cost of fuel today.
Forbes examined financial disclosures for every sitting senator. We found 26 with at least $7 million in investments tied directly to the data center buildout, including Sheldon Whitehouse and Susan Collins.

In the early going, people would ask me, "Why don't you like Trump?" Clearly, they had never known me. A big reason I became a conservative was anti-communism: opposition to monstrous dictators, moral clarity on the subject. All of that is gone, absolutely gone, on the right.
