A local coffee shop let’s say in a small Midwest town doesn’t want a robot or AI to completely run & engulf their business. Neither do their customers. It’s exactly why we’ve been quietly building on the ground for real local operators at Mettle. Just some food for thought
It’s becoming more evident that new startups and legacy companies use “small business” as a buzzword for press and funding, without ever having worked in one or spoken to a blue-collar owner.
They want automation, but...
Awful at posting on here lately but been busy launching a few new markets! Stoked to mention we applied to @speedrun@a16z a few weeks back and waiting to hear 👊🏼 Looking forward to seeing everyone at NYC tech week, next week 👀
I’m not one to complain but @SouthwestAir this is outrageous. You made me check my bag and this is the result… seems a bit excessive to get a dent that deep to basically a brand new suitcase.
@nikunj Agree 100% (biased as ex-DoorDash 😂). We skipped the Tier 1 noise for Pittsburgh/Miami with Mettle. Not only is CAC lower, but the adoption in these hubs is massive compared to a SF/NY. I say SMBs are ready for agentic tools you just have to meet them where they actually live
Stop by tomorrow for my first activation since we launched last week! All my Miami people(still new to all this X grind) lol but hoping it finds the right audience.
