Getting what you want in life isn’t as simple as checking goals off your list…
And, if I’m being honest, it’s not really about achieving the goals at all…
No, getting the most out of life is much deeper than that…to help you understand, let’s talk about money…
There’s a saying that, if we took all the money in the country and divided it equally amongst everyone, that eventually it would all end up back in the same hands as it is today…
Not because rich people are thieves, but because rich people know what it takes to regularly and effectively make and attract money.
In other words, the people who have money today have it because they’re the type of person that knows how the money game works and knows how to win at it.
So, for you, the point of hitting big goals is not simply to hit the goal, but to become the type of person that can hit your goals regularly and effectively…
To build the skills and abilities necessary to continue hitting your goals, and doing that on and ongoing basis as you grow and get better…
If you can understand the nuance of that, you’ll be unstoppable.
Are you busy trying to live a life that everyone else is living? Or that everyone else wants you to live?
Most people go through life following the same script as the rest of society…go to school, get a job, have a family, and, eventually, retire…without putting any thought into the life they’re creating (consciously or unconsciously).
Which seems harmless, until you get to the end of life and find that you’re living with an intense amount of regret revolving around one central topic…not creating a life of your own.
Regret over not taking more risks…
Regret over not starting that business…
Regret over not making decisions that make YOU happy…
And the list goes on and on.
It’s easy to get caught up in living life like the sheeple. It’s much harder getting to the end and realizing time is out to do all of those things you promised yourself you would do…some day.
Quit questioning yourself…quit doubting yourself…quit waiting for the right time and just start.
Start making decisions that build a life on purpose instead of fumbling around and living a life on accident.
This your one shot…don’t let it slip.
Medicaid is for single mothers with small children who are just trying to make it.
It's not for 29-year-old males sitting on their couch playing video games.
We're going to find those guys, and we will SEND them back to work!
Most people are too busy celebrating on those easy days when everything goes right…
They make a bunch of progress at work, so they celebrate by taking it easy the next day…
Or they have a good workout, so they celebrate by going out for beers with the boys…
Or they pat themselves on the back for doing something special for their wife or husband and justify being a dick the next day.
Not only does all that celebrating deteriorate your results, it’s also poorly utilized…
Because you should do better on easy days…that’s why they’re called easy days and not hard days…
If your expectation is only to do good on easy days, it’s time you take a long, hard look in the mirror and decide who you really want to be.
No…it’s not the easy days that’ll make you…it’s the hard days that create results…that build resilience…that develop your character and make you unfuckwithable.
When you show up on hard days, you become the type of person that follows through, gets their work done no matter what, and achieves the things that other people are busy dreaming about.
The choice is yours.
A federal employee went on CNN to cry that she only had 48 hours to reply to Elon/ DOGE’s email…
Sooo… she had time to get herself booked on CNN and go on TV, but not reply to an email about her actual job…. Got it.
You’re paying way too much attention to your feelings and that’s why you’re not getting results…
The “norm” in society today is to follow your “feels” and emotions and let them guide you…
When you don’t feel like doing something, listen to your feels and don’t do it…
When you feel uncomfortable having a hard conversation, listen to your feels and skip it…
The thing is, listening to your feelings is a 1st world privilege, and we’re all too arrogant to realize that…
Because we’re so damn spoiled and have little-to-no real existential threats to our existence (ironically, WE are our biggest existential threat these days), we have to make up things to pay attention to…and feelings happens to be one of them…
Try telling someone living in a 3rd world country that has to literally fight for their existence every day to listen to their feelings and they’ll be dead by dinner time.
Only mediocre minds use feelings as a guide…which then produces mediocre results and leads to a mediocre life…
Instead know the price you need to pay to get the results you want…and then vow to pay that price in full every day, feelings be damned.
Just remember, fuck your feelings…do the work. That’s how you build the life you say you want.
Society is full of starters but devoid of finishers…
The reason so many people are starters is because it feels good to start things…
Our dopamine likes starting things, so we start and quit and start again…
Our friends like when we start things by patting us on the back when we start again…
And, in general, starting something new is just more exciting than settling in for another week of grinding on the same project.
But being a starter doesn’t make you successful…it makes you the type of person who can’t finish…
The type of person that bitches and quits when things get hard…
The type of person that convinces themselves that they can’t do anything in life when, in reality, you’ve just been focusing on the wrong fucking part of the journey.
Success in life is about being a finisher. That’s the difference between you and everyone you point out that’s done more than you…they finish shit.
Become a finisher in a sea of starters and see what happens.
You get out of life what you’re willing to put into it…
Which means you have to start by understanding the price you need to pay for the life you keep dreaming about.
For most people, that’s as far is it goes…a dream of a life that might happen someday if only…
If only they get lucky…
If only things go their way…
If only the world will cooperate…
But when you recognize that there’s no such thing as luck, that things only go your way when you’re regularly taking action, and that the world will only cooperate when you constantly tell it what you want through that same action, then you only have one choice…
To grab life by the balls and decide to do something about it…
To ignore anything that suggests that you aren’t capable and that you can’t do it…
And to decide to keep going no matter what, especially when life throws a left hook and knocks you the fuck out.
When you decide you’re going to put in the work no matter what, life respects the shit out of you and starts serving that dream on a platter.
But it starts with a choice. What choice did you make today?
She says absolutely nothing and all of these people are just “oh yes” and “mhhmmm” and “so good” all over the place. Is this how little people think for themselves, really?
I’m just trying to figure out in what world this “argument” makes sense. If you don’t understand the concept of paying your own way, then you’re in the wrong country…full stop.
She drives a 2024 BMW and has taxpayers paying her bills, groceries, rent, and cash assistance! Now she’s shocked she has to pay her own way ..
She needs to be arrested for fraud …
The truth of the matter is, these people have no clue how to think for themselves. They blab about individuality and diversity and so on, and yet they all repeat the same bullshit that someone else told them to repeat.
