@David_Tracey Agreed.Dude, we desperately need future tech\medicine is we want to meaningfully live longer(average man over 120). Modern medicine sucks.
@David_Tracey We are talking about the maximum lifespan, which is defined by biological aging processes. Average lifespan was at 40 in late 19th century,we live longer now because of sanitation\nutrition\modern madical care, but these measures can hardly get average man to live to 100.
@David_Tracey easier to be increased),let alone humans. I really wish we can achieve immortality someday, but we simply don’t have evidence that it’s happening.
@David_Tracey No,but I’ve been obsessed with longevity, and the idea of longevity escape velocity made me overjoyed before I found it’s poorly based. Had to be realistic-we cannot meaningfully increase lifespan of rodents through treatments(simpler life forms like rodents, their lifespan are
@David_Tracey lifespan, not just health)is rapamysin, and it could probably elongate human lifespan by a few percent. I leaned this from Matt Kaeberlein,a friend of Petter Attica, who has the same opinion, that longevity escape velocity is highly unlikely in the near future.
@David_Tracey I’ve seen this narrative, yet the unfortunate truth is that we can do little to stop aging,at least for now. The example he proposed - glp 1 agonists can meaningfully increase your lifespan-is just false. Actually one of the most potent longevity drug(which can increase your
@Banana3Stocks@Shah2pac if I recalled correctly, last winter NVDA dropped for 2 weeks after ATH and before the earnings, yet it still dropped hard post earnings. May I ask you why do you think price dropping before earnings is a good thing?
