I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you do not need a graduate degree to be considered an archivist. Because what do you think people were doing stateside prior to 1981 and in Europe before 1821?
Archives existed long before credentialing did.

Most people don’t actually care about archival work…or its ethics, relevance, or even how it situates, supports, and sustains their own work.
It is mostly performative. They talk about the work in the imaginary. It happens everyday, b.
